Greek Wedding Crowns | Koufeta | Stefana : Greek decorative koufeta for the tray

In Greece some decorative koufeta are placed on the wedding tray along with the stefana, the classic koufeta, the wine decanter and glass. All of them are usually embellished with the same design of the stefana. The number of all the koufeta placed on the wedding tray should be an odd number.  It is also a tradition that single women take three of the wedding tray's koufeta and sleep with them under their pillow, so that they will dream of their future husband.
